Diaoyutai State Guesthouse |
| Diaoyutai State Guesthouse receives CBW
Travel's highest praises when it comes to places to stay in China.
However, Diaoyutai State Guesthouse is not a hotel! If you are interested
in "Diaoyutai Hotel," please contact hotel@cbw.com. |
 |
Since 1959, Diaoyutai State Guesthouse has been reserved for the
exclusive use of foreign dignitaries. It rather reminiscent of Camp
David in the United States.
A guarded and enclosed compound near the center of Beijing, it
is accessible only through a private-use highway which is off-limits
to the regular urban traffic.
|
| The Diaoyutai landscape is surrounded by luscious gardens. These
gardens may be the most well-maintained gardens in all the world. |
|
|

The residence consists of eighteen distinct buildings, each equipped
to receive its intended guests--dignitaries and top VIP's from around
the globe.
|
|
One of the main reasons why Diaoyutai receives our top
honors and praises is because of its versatility ... |
| |
| ... a corporate retreat |
| |
| ... a place for exclusive parties |
| |
| ... a weekend-retreat to relax away |
| |
| Diaoyutai has a plethora of facilities
such as indoor swimming, indoor tennis courts, private indoor bowling,
private exercise rooms, beauty parlor, massage therapy, sauna, etc.
There are simply too many amenities to mention. |
|
The Guesthouse is also renowned for the culinary feats of its kitchens.
|
 |
|
Dioyutai is the place of choice to stay at while in
China. However, as we said earlier, Diaoyutai is not a hotel--it is
China's State Guesthouse. You cannot simply make a reservation to
Diaoyutai. Through our "guanxi" we are able to help some select applicants
stay at Dioyutai. |
| If you would like to stay at Diaoyutai you must fax
the Diaoyutai State
Guesthouse Accommodations and Facility Usage Application Form
to us along with a copy of your business card and passport so we can
submit to the Diaoyutai authorities for consideration. |
